Sunset At The Historic Tilson Farm

This view is of the historic Tilson Farm in Madison County, NC, in the late evening. Plein air, with touch up in studio. This painting was sold through the Appalachian Barn Alliance show to help with that organization's goal to help preserve the fast disappearing Appalachian Barns, and to capture some of them in images before they are gone. This barn in the scene is the Historic Tilson Barn, built around the 1870's. Here is their website: https://database.appalachianbarns.org/
